LAGUNA ASHFORD CLASSICS AND SPECIALS SHOW 2011
Sunday 10th July saw our 4th annual Classics and Specials bike show at our Triumph store in Kingnorth, Ashford.There were a variety of classic and special Triumph's on show as well as information stands from the Ashford RAT's (Riders Association of Triumph), Great Escape 2, Shoei Helmets, The East Kent Advanced Motorcyclists and Pirelli/Metzeler Tyres. Customers enjoyed some special offers on bikes, a clothing sale and a charity prize draw that thanks to Shoei and Pirelli/Metzeler who donated prizes, raised money to help the Kent Air Ambulance that relies almost entirely upon the generosity of the public. All the entries helped make this years Classics and Specials Bike Show a massive success. Trophies and Gift Vouchers were given to the winners of the Best in Show categories while there were also four Merit Medals for other categories. |

Laguna's T3 Challenge Cup rider Philip Atkinson was also there with his T3 Daytona 675, Phil helped out with the show judging and presenting the winners trophies as well as talking to people about his efforts in the Triumph Triple Challenge and his Laguna Motorcycles sponsored Daytona 675 Race Bike. |

Peter "Spud" Spowage came along and had the Great Escape 2 bikes with an information stand showing the journey that Laguna Motorcycles helped his team make to visit the sites from the classic film 'THE GREAT ESCAPE'. Although the characters portrayed in the film were fictional, they are based on real men, who gave their lives during World War II. Spud also played a part in the day by being one of our judges. |

There were many other worthy entrants as well, including some well kept classic Bonnies, Daytonas, Speed Triples, Thunderbirds and the list goes on! We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thanks everyone who took part in, or helped make our show happen this year.
