Vintage Look and Feel

Details like a classic seat design, steel fenders, and spoked wheels contribute to the machines timeless beauty and a vintage feel that riders will notice when they first sit on the machine.

        Kawasaki Spark a New Era

with the Ninja e-1 and the Z e-1

TheseNinja e-1 and Z e-1 electric bikes could change motorcycle engineering forever.

Scroll down to find out more...

    Ninja e-1

    Z e-1

        From a company with 70 years of motorcycle experience, the dawn of a new era is upon us with the brand new Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 electric motorcycles. These ground-breaking battery-powered, zero-emissions bikes sit proudly within Kawasaki&#039;s 125cc category.

        With a near-silent &amp; efficient brushless motor, rated at 5kw (with a maximum of 9Kw on demand) these two electric bikes rely on an innovative twin, and removablebattery solution, with the batteries wired in parallel, unlike competitors, delivering the advantage of efficient and effective charge usage.

        These bikes are clutchless, therefore delivering their power via a &#039;twist and go&#039; method, making them essentially automatic. They also come with two ride modes (Road &amp; Eco), plus an exciting &#039;e-boost&#039; that delivers (on demand) a maximum of 9kw of power and acceleration.

        Now, for something that will get everyone excited... Kawasaki has created a &#039;walk mode&#039;, allowing these machines to maneuver at walking pace in both forward and reverse. It is claimed that this feature will help riders position their bikes in tighter parking areas, and will help significantly with reversing up an incline.

        The signature livery for these electric bikes is a unique Metallic Bright Silver and Metallic Matte Lime Green. The TFT screen spares no expenses, with full smartphone connectivity, machine riding status, range, availability of boost function, and riding level selected.

        These bikes also come with a fantastic range of accessories available, such as +30mm Ergo-Fit seats and various charging solutions.

        Keep an eye out for more information about these bikes...

    <title>The Kawasaki Z900: Steve&#039;s Review</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/the-kawasaki-z900steves-review</link>
    <description>
        The Kawasaki Z900 Review

Steve gives our demo bike a go

Steve, our E-Commerce Supervisor, took ourKawasaki Z900 out for a spin, and he&#039;s put together a little review of this great bike.

Steve has ridden a Kawasaki before, but he is more at home on an adventure bike.

Scroll down to read what he thought of this naked 900cc machine...

        WHAT 3 WORDS WOULD YOU USE TO DESCRIBE THE BIKE BEFORE YOU RODE IT?

&quot;Stunning, colourful, and stylish. I really like the green.&quot;

        WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE ENGINE, POWER, AND TORQUE?

&quot;The engine is solid, smooth, and has loads of power.&quot;

        HOW WAS THE HANDLING, BRAKES &amp; RIDING POSITION?

&quot;The handling was spot on, just as I knew it would be. The brakes were really smooth and I felt confident that they would do their thing when I really needed them to. I usually ride Adventure bikes, so the position was very different and took a little while to get used to.&quot;

        WHAT MODIFICATIONS WOULD YOU MAKE TO THIS BIKE?

&quot;To be honest... none! It is a really lovely bike that just rides and handles so well already.&quot;

        WHAT 3 WORDS WOULD YOU USE TO DESCRIBE THE BIKE AFTER YOU RODE IT?

&quot;Comfortable, light, and quick.&quot;

        THE VERDICT...

&quot;At 63 years young, this bike would be a real pleasure to ride at the weekend, but for me, it wouldn&#039;t be an everyday bike. The riding position, however, is great for weekend fun! This bike is a real head-turner with a really modern look. It&#039;s also fantastic value for a 900 as well!&quot;

        Make your own verdict...

Test ride our demo bike!

    <title>The all-new 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/the-all-new-2024-kawasaki-ninja-zx-6r</link>
    <description>
        2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

The Ninja bikes are a family of motorcycles that look good no matter the engine size.

The new 2024 Ninja ZX-6R is being born into an already attractive and popular family, but boy does it shine in its own ways.

Scroll down to find out how...

        New larger brake discs and monobloc calipers

The new Ninja ZX-6R will deliver a firm feel through the new rigid, radial-mounted monobloc calipers. The new disc brakes measure an impressive 310 mm, and powerful braking is futhersupported by a radialpump front brake master cylinder to complete the front brake package. On the rear wheel, a 220 mm disc brake does all the work, and new round discs pay homage to the strong genes and good looks of the Ninja ZX family.

        636cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke in-line four engine

It would be easy to assume that the extra 37cc displacement wouldn&#039;t change the bike much... but it definitely does,enhancingthe performance, both on back roads and the race track. The 2024 model is also more economical.

    <title>Kawasaki Z900 SE: Andy&#039;s Top 3 Features</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/kawasaki-z900-seandys-top-3-features</link>
    <description>
        2023 Kawasaki Z900 SE

Andy&#039;s top 3 features

We asked our Sales Advisor, Andy,at our Laguna Motorcycles store in Ashford, what he thinks the best 3features of the Kawasaki Z900 SE are...

Scroll down to see what he chose and why!

    The brakes

Firstly, Andy picked the upgraded brakes for their seriously good stopping power!

On the front, the brakes are dual semi-floating 300 mm Brembo discs, with a dual radial-mounted caliper, Brembo M4.32 monobloc opposed 4-piston. At the rear, a single 250 mm petal disc sits with a single-piston caliper.

    The suspension

Andy&#039;s second choice was the hlins rear suspension with it&#039;s improved adjustability and premium customisation options.

The 2023 model has a horizontal back-link hlins S46 gas-charged shock with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability.

    The screen

And last, but by no means least, Andy&#039;s 3rd feature is the TFT colour screen because he thinks the accessibility of the menu is very underrated.

The new all-digital TFT colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance. The new meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model.

        What&#039;s mean, green, and ready to shake things up?

The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R Supersport

A mid-weight, higher-performance four-cylinder Kawasaki Ninja is on the way in the form of the Ninja ZX-4R, as well as the ZX-4R SE and the ZX-4 RR variants. Expect more hype and excitement drummed up for this bike later in the autumn of this year. But for now, we&#039;ve got some of the details that we&#039;re sure you&#039;re chomping at the bit to know...

If you&#039;dlike to knowspecifications, you&#039;ll find them at the bottom!

It means business

The most powerful of the family will be equipped with a high-output engine deliveringan insane 80 PS in a lightweight chassis, for superior cornering performanceand a weightless feeling with acceleration. This bike is premium, aggressive and refined. Kawasaki are calling it an &quot;apex predator&quot; and an absolute must to experience whether you&#039;re a seasoned rider or a biker new to the joys of supersport and smaller race-style bikes. Whichever category you fall into... you&#039;re in for a real treat.

        It&#039;s got serious power

What makes this bike really go and gives it its power is a newly developed 399cc liquid-cooled, parallel 4-cylinder DOHC engine, based on that of the ZX series. This gives a maximum output of 57 kW (77 PS) and 59 kW (80 PS), thanks mostly to Kawasakis world-famous Ram Air system, located in the centre of the upper cowl, providing styling that is instantly recognisable as part of the Ninja ZX series.

It&#039;s full of tech

Keep an eye on how the bike is performing via the 4.3-inch full-digital colour high visibility LCD screen. Enjoy &quot;track mode&quot; that displays lap times, gear positions, and RPMs from 10,000 rpm and above, as well as Kawasaki&#039;s &quot;RIDEOLOGY&quot; app that can be downloaded to your phone and used for a variety of functions, including recording GPS route information.

        Kawasaki are going greener

New electric,hydrogen &amp; hybrid-powered models are on the horizon

Kawasaki may not have releasedas many models as their rivals throughout 2023, however, they have been exploringa new direction for the company. In some ways, leading motorcycle innovation yet againfollowing the success of the H2 family. They&#039;re aiming to bring alternative-poweredbikes to the market withall-new models. Thisis certain to sparkinterest and they have already announced the launchfor 2024.

    The Z EV

Electric Vehicle

The Kawasaki Z EV is the Kawasaki electric motorcycle closest to production specification. This bike will allow riders on an A1 licence to enjoy it&#039;s thrilling ride, but that will mean that it&#039;s performance will not be quite the same as the Ninja, but we&#039;ll get to that. It will have the performance of a 125cc bike, and we know it will house an 11 kW (14.8 bhp) motor that is energized by a 3.0 kWh battery.

    The NinjaEV

Electric Vehicle

Instantly, we can see this is based heavily on the bodywork and styling of the Kawasaki Ninja 400. This bike will share components with the Z EV, and will also comply with an A1 licence, however, it is rumored to provide more power and better suit those who want more than just a fun trip to work. Kawasaki are setting the Ninja EV up as the beginner electric sports bike, but performance specifications remain a secret.

        The Hydrogen Machine

Kawasaki unveiled plans for a future Hydrogen model, and have given as a glimpse into what this might look like. Some say it looks like a thing of the past with class-style fairing, but others know Kawasaki have put their best heads together to make this bike a thing of the future, with revolutionary technology and eye-catching styling based on the Ninja H2s design. This is the bike that might see Kawasaki&#039;s first Hydrogen engine. Minimal emissions, a water-vapor output and maximum performance could be coming to Kawasaki fans... we just don&#039;t know when.

    The HEV

Hybrid Electric Vehicle

The company took the wraps off the hybrid prototype a little while ago, after dropping so many hints and getting everyone excited. However details of the Kawasaki Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) are top-secret for now. But...it is anticipated to be part of the 2024 line-up!

        How does the hybrid engine work?

Thehybrid engine will be directed bythe rider&#039;s riding style and location and surroundings. When the rider is on the motorway, the engine power is activated. Meanwhile, when the rider is traveling through the city or any other urban area, only electric power will be generated. For those twists and turns out in the countryside, the model will use the best of both worlds with integrated hybrid drive technology.

    <title>The legend of the Supercharger</title>

    <description>

        Are you ready for the sonic boom?

Kawasaki has always strived for motorcycle innovationfocusing on critical areas like riding performance and engine durability. One of their key recent steps is introducing the supercharged engine whichwe see within the entire H2 range - capable of impressive performance andblood pumping power. We&#039;re deep-diving into the machine and its performance to review some of the remarkable engineering brilliance Kawasaki has achieved.

        Concept

The main aims of this engine were to give a true sense of acceleration and provide a wow factor that offers a fun-to-ride experience. Although the concept was simple, keeping in-line with environmental performance requirements meant conflicts in aspired designs. This meant the Kawasaki development team now needed to adapt and overcome. Adopting compressor technology for superchargers, Kawasaki was in development to create its own compressor to achieve new heights of motorcycle technology.

        Development

Turbochargers are commonly found within passenger cars, however because of the way these engines work it becomes difficult to achieve zero turbo lag. This means it is difficult to achieve the characteristics we would normally find and want from amotorcycle. Electric superchargers are available but require a large battery -too large in fact to be mounted in such a small space on the model. So for multiple reasons, a mechanically driven linear supercharger was selected and installed. The Kawasaki centrifugal supercharger is designed to be driven by the crankshaft,which is compact and lightweight, but has a high rotation rate - meaning it can quickly follow changes in the engine speed. Due to the complexity of the design of this engine, Kawasaki started to not only develop, but also manufacture their superchargers themselves -puttingthe quality control over machining, assembly, adjustment and performance into their own hands.

        Refinement

After producing the H2 revolutionary supercharged engine, the next step was to create a balanced version of the engine. Instead of focusing only on speed and power, Kawasaki decided to focus on fuel economy and torque within the low rev range. To do this, significant development within the compression ratio was neededfrom 8:5 to a more sustainable 11:2 balance. Extending from the compression ratio, Kawasaki needed to optimize the attack angle of the impeller blade to ensure a cooler running temperature was executed.

We see this balanced engine within the Z H2 - a model specifically built for road use and everyday travel.

    <title>The Kawasaki duo are back together</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/the-kawasaki-duo-are-back-together</link>
    <description>
        Winning comes easy to superstars like these

Kawasaki isdelighted to announce that the WorldSBK champion, Jonathan Rea has officially signed a two-year contract extension to race as part of the KRT (Kawasaki Race Team) - continuing a highly successful career partnership that started in 2015. Over the partnership, Rea has shown motivation anddetermination in every race, giving the KRT the utmost confidence in an extended venture together.

Scroll down to read more from the partners...

        A word from Jonathan Rea

I am really happy and excited to renew my contract with Kawasaki, to roll on for another two more years. It has been an incredible partnership, we have enjoyed so much success together that it is almost a natural progression. There was not much negotiation needed to continue together from both sides. It was more a case of how much more motivation I had to keep racing at the highest level in the WorldSBK championship. It has been an incredible few seasons; more competitive than ever. I have realised how motivated I am to continue and to continue fighting to win. Kawasaki gave me the opportunity back in 2015 to realise a childhood dream when I won the WorldSBK championship in the first year together. As a partnership, we are so solid, and I am looking forward to continuing making memories and representing an incredible manufacturer and brand. My team is my racing family. I love everyone inside the team like my own family and relationships like that count for a lot in racing. Huge credit goes to every single person in the staff, from Provec Racing, all the engineers in Japan, and everyone in the Kawasaki family. I am excited to see what we can do over the next two seasons.

        A word from Guim Roda (KRT Team Manager)

Since we signed Johnny for the 2015 season, and until now, we have written a nice part of WorldSBKs history. We are so proud to be part of this Rea success story, which also means, Kawasakis success story. Its going on eight seasons together now, and Johnny has been performing at the maximum, always. Nowadays, and at the age of 35, he is in his best shape, and we know there&#039;s still a lot of dancing left to be done. We have been working hard to define, with KMC, which kind of project we could create for Johnny to allow him to keep pushing at 110%. I think we gave him the motivation he needed to go for it for two years more. We can never rest on the laurels of our successful past, so we will have a hard job covering JRs expectations. We are ready for that. We guarantee it will be a real show for at least two more years

    <title>Tips from a winner: Dean Harrison</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/tips-from-a-winnerdean-harrison</link>
    <description>
        Shave minutes off your lap times

We are looking at Dean Harrison&#039;s top tips for racing the Isle of Man TT, where he got the advantage and was one step ahead of the competition. As one of the fastest men ever around the legendary course, don&#039;t miss this key knowledge as we catch up with his comments froma recent Kawasaki interview.

If you are planning on visiting the track for the racing, he has also shared some great places to watch the action!

Scroll down for racing tipsand destinations for a great view ofthe course...

        Focus is key, every part of the track is crucial for the win...

        1 - The Pit Stop

One key component to every rider&#039;s race time is pit stops. Choosing to take your pit stop at the correct time could be the difference in whether you make a podium position or not. This section of the race is highly tense.It&#039;s all hands on deck and everyone on the team plays a very important role in keeping the pit stop time under one minute. Roles include changing tyres, filling up fuel, changing the rider&#039;s visor etc.

        2 - Quarry Bends

When it comes to getting ahead of the competition, the Quarry Bends are a crucial part. This section of the race takes place about halfway around the lap and is essential to your run following onto the Sulby Straight (the fastest part of the course). This can be a very physical part of the course as you have to lean the bike over from side to side at phenomenal speeds.

        3 - Rhencullen jump

Another incredibly important part of the lap is the run through Rhencullen. You&#039;ll encounter bumps and humps where you&#039;ll have to wrestle to keep your ride on the line. Getting the jump here is crucial as losing valuable lap time is quickly done - you want to get the jump exactly right in order to get ahead.

        4 - Ballagarey

There&#039;s a reason this part of the track has a nickname of Ballascary! It&#039;s an incredibly fast but blind corner, and you are completely flat out on the approach. With stone walls on either side of the road, there&#039;s no room for erroron this corner, so you&#039;ll need to be fully focused.

        5 - The Mountain Run

The mountain is one of the most iconic parts of the entire course. This section of the race has a bit of everything you could encounter, from slow corners to flat out speed straights. Brandywell is one of the key sections and the highest point of the course - entering this from Haliwoo&#039;s Rise is essential.

        Read more about where you can view the race from - keep scrolling down!

        Where can you watch from?

        1 - Bray Hill

Bray Hill might be one of the most popular places to watchdue to its landscape country views of bikes zooming at over 180mph. Sitting in the gardens and watching these missile-speed motorcycles is something you&#039;ll never forget.

        2 - Greeba Bridge

The exit of Greeba Bridge is a top contender of best places to watch the race from. If you head to Hawthorn pub, you can watch as the racers exit going down towards Gorselea and Ballacraine.

        3 - Barregarrow

If you have a need for speed and skill, Barregarrow is a fantastic place to watch the riders leanright over with the knees sliders in full effect. Get there early though as there&#039;s limited spaces available.

        4 - Kirk Michael

Spectator spots are exclusive at Kirk Michael, but Whitehouse Park is one of the best options with fantastic views throughout the entire village. Not to mention the awesome side roads you can watch from too.

        5 - End of the Mountain Mile

The Mountain Mile is always a special place to watch from, and at the end of it is a great place to see the bikes at incredible speeds alongside spectacular views over the island.

    <title>The evolution of the Ninja 1000SX</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/the-evolution-of-the-ninja-1000sx</link>
    <description>

        Ninja by name, Ninja by nature

One of the last remaining pillars in the authentic sport-touring category, the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX takes centre stage as one of the best sport-touring models ever made. The bike from the factory came with brilliant technology, enhanced power and a breathtaking price point - making it the ideal model within Kawasaki&#039;s range.

Take a trip down memory lane with us as we discover how far the model has come since its birth and why you should really consider this beast as your next pride and joy.

Scroll down for more information...

        2011 - The legend is born

The Ninja 1000SX burstonto the market with not much competition from other manufacturers. Taking inspiration from the Z1000 (2010), there were some key features that riders wanted from this new model - which Kawasaki catered for. Firstly the bike had substantial power of 136hp and 110Nm of torque, enough for even the sportiest of riders. The model also showcased fully adjustable inverted forks, a 19L tank and a mixture of LCD &amp; analogue riding displays.

        2014 - Rider enhancements here we come

There were a number of significant changes to the model in 2014 that we still see on the model today. Kawasaki added three-stage traction control and two power modes as standard, they enhanced braking with ABS too as an optional extra. As well as these main headline points, there were improvements made to the gears incorporating a taller sixth gear. Monoblock radial-mounted calipers were added, the rear shock was made 3% stiffer and a remote rear pre-load adjuster was utilised. This was sure to be a model they&#039;d be keeping in their range for a long time to come.

        2017 - One of a kind

The third generation of the model brought some revolutionary changes too. A six-axis IMU was added allowing cornering ABS - a feature we saw more regularly on high-end sport bikes. In addition to this, Kawasaki revised the display, lengthened the windscreen and utilised KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent ABS) which riders agreed was a smoother system. As for styling, the bike was redesigned to look a little more like a contemporary H2 and LED headlamps were added.

        2020- Turning up the comfort dial

At last, the birth of cruise control on this model! This remastered version featured more comforts like cruise control, a two-way quick-shifter, a slipper clutch and a custom riding mode. Electronics were reworked to full ride-by-wire with electronic throttle valves and the TFT display took another upgrade, this time including Bluetooth connectivity with a dedicated app. Comfort was everything, so a larger more comfortable seat for both rider and pillion was added and a taller four-way adjustable screen too. Kawasaki goes one deeper into the sports-tourer category here, enhancing both sport and touring features on the model.

        The journey continues

The model is now sitting at the high end of its category with even more upgrades made to the latest version. The rider now receives a clean-mount pannier system, Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres, KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), and a new exhaust system. The list of features is endless on this model and the level of engineering brilliance is outstanding.

        Try the Ninja 1000SX yourself...

    <title>Review of the 2022 Kawasaki Z900RS</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/review-of-the-2022-kawasaki-z900rs</link>
    <description>

        Built to be classic...

Based on the original king of cool - the Kawasaki Z1, the new Z900RS has been taking the market by storm with riders worldwide now joining the retro-volution. A fantastic blend of classicand modern design combined to make something utterly breathtaking. Here at Laguna Motorcycles, we thought this ride deservedmore attention!

We gave a Kawasaki Z900RS to our Parts Advisor,Reece, for a full week to allow anin-depth experienceand review. Will it be a dream bike in his eyes or just a good piece of motor marketing?

Scroll down to see his review...

        What&#039;s the verdict?

        How was the engine, power and torque?

&quot;The engine is smooth andquick atthe lights as there&#039;s shed loads of torque to play with. Obviouslythere are more powerful bikes out there,but it goes when it needs to and you will not end up wanting more power.There&#039;s lots of passing power for motorways!The engine sounds pretty good even when idol,but I&#039;m a bit of a noisy boy so I prefer a louder note - soadd a cheeky Yoshi on there and it would be golden. What I quite liked is that you could poodle around in 4th gear and it&#039;ll do what it needs to but if you wanted to give it some beans, just twist the throttle and hold on tight!&quot;

        How was the handling, brakes and riding position?

&quot;The Z900RS has a great riding position.I was taking it out daily for hours at a time and didn&#039;t get any aches,pains or discomfort. There was nooverstretch on reach to the handlebarswhich I liked and it has a comfortable seat height for the average individual. In addition to the handlebars, the footpegs were in a nice position allowing me to lean where I wanted to without any stress orscraping of metal. This bike is nimble, agile and quite light. It felt a lot like a sports bike without the fairing. Personally for me - for comfort more than anything, I would swap the tyres over for some Michelin Road 5&#039;s.&quot;

        What technology does it have and was there anything you found useful?

&quot;The bike doesn&#039;t have lots in regards to technology but I think that&#039;s what makes it. It couldfeel like an odd combo throwing unnecessary technology onto a classic looking bike. Kawasaki has obviously tried to keep that retro flavour going through the entire model, which you can clearly feel the moment you sit in the saddle. I have more experience on older bikes, so even traction control was one step forward for me. Being able to amend that where need be was quite a treat.&quot;

        What modifications would you make to this motorcycle?

&quot;As I said earlier, I like a loud motorcycle so my personal preference would be to install a Yoshimura Cyclone Stainless Steel slip on. It&#039;s an exhaust that would fit the retro character of the bike whilst giving it that little more &#039;beast&#039; appeal. Due to minimal fairing, I would install fork and engine protection just for peace of mind and maybe a radiator guard too.

I think if I was being extra picky I&#039;d install a tail tidy but there&#039;s nothing wrong with its current indicators - that would just be an added extra.&quot;

        How would you rate the Kawasaki Z900RS overall?

&quot;Right from the get-go this is a beautiful bike that performs well and carries a substantial sounding growl. The engine is ideal for any sort of rider, from the everyday commuter to new riders combined. Whoever you are you&#039;re bound to get a thrill somewhere. I personally love the style of the bike -the colours sparkle amazingly and the mixture of the analogue dial and LCD display works great. Rest assured if you often carry a pillion passenger, my partner found the seat comfortable and the pillion pegs are in an ideal place.

Regarding the power of the &#039;RS, taking off at the lights was more than fun, in addition to the tremendous amount of overtaking power it has for the motorways. It has quite an aggressive throttle response, which in my opinion adds more character.

I rode the Candy Tone Blue colour option for the week and am still working through the photos I took of it, it&#039;s gorgeous. I think this bike should sit in the 10k-13k bracket and even there it would be great value for money.

All round, a fantastic motorcycle and yes I would consider getting one in the future.&quot;

    <title>Faster Than Speed Itself: ZX-10R</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/faster-than-speed-itselfzx-10r</link>
    <description>

        Faster than Speed itself...

We had a very exciting project in our Laguna Performance Centre workshop recently. A Kawasaki ZX-10R was undergoing various changes to make it set for the race track, ready for winning. The upgrades increased performance and bike protection, making it the ideal companion for taking on the competition and heading out onto those bends.

- If you need assistance with &quot;trackifying&quot; your motorcycle, just give us a call on 01233 665520 -

Scroll down for more information on the bike, parts and project...

        The calm before the storm...

Before setting off we needed to order a huge stack of parts and prepare the bike for undergoing serious workshop work. We purchased various products from brands such as Akrapovic, R&amp;G, Gilles and Pirelli.

If you need assistance on parts, contact us directly on 01233 665520 or use the button below.

    Akrapovic Carbon Racing Exhaust

This beautiful Carbon look exhaust adds power and torque to your overall force. Perfect for throttle response, durability and engine mapping. Racing engineering built for motorcycle racers.

    Full Track Body Fairing

Increasing the aerodynamics of this machine to the max and reducing weight wherever possible, track fairing aids the performance of your motorcycle completely.

    R&amp;G Protective Wear

Protect your bike from crashing damage whilst keeping added weight to a minimum and keeping interferance to a minimum, R&amp;G offer a fantastic range of products.

    Max Friction Tank Grips

When racing or leaning on your motorcycle, you sometimes encounter slight slippage of grip. Tank Grips offer superb friction, keeping you and your machine in sync throughout the whole race.

    Pro Radiator Protection Guard

Protect your bike from track debris and causing unneccesary damage. Don&#039;t allow your radiator to be damaged at high speeds, instead add a line of defence with a premium quality radiator guard.

    Max Protection Exhaust Guard

Don&#039;t get caught off guard when you&#039;re focused on winning. Exhaust Guards offer great protection against track strain or wellbeing issues.

    Gilles Adjustable Rearsets

Adjust your footpegs and foot controls for better rider comfort and improved ground clearance -these additions are durable and brilliant at fitting to the rider desired position.

    New Set of Race Tyres

Worn tyres can often provide less traction and performance in turns around the track. It&#039;s vital to change your tyres whenever possible but make sure they&#039;re warm if you&#039;re already on the track!

        Raising the bar, the dyno bar...

Increasing the performance of this motorcycle was crucial, adding overall torque and horsepower whilst reducing weight &amp; refining aerodynamics. Adding the Akrapovic exhaust alone added 12.1kW of power and 14.2Nm of torque whilst reducing weight by 3.9kg.

    *These are estimates and for visual purposes only, for accurate results please dyno test.

        Estimate Improvement Results

Making various improvements will add HP and torque to your motorcycle. Adding the right compound tyres can add as much as 8hp to your overall results.

        The diamond has now been cut...

We now conclude our project and the Kawasaki ZX-10R is now ready for the track. It has undergone testing and preparations in order to be fit for use of the customer.

    <title>Class defining Ninja 1000SX set to continue segment dominance in 2021</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/class-defining-ninja-1000sx-set-to-continue-segment-dominance-in-2021</link>
    <description>Evolving from the Z1000SX, which frequently topped the sales charts in several European markets, the recently launched Ninja 1000SX ably demonstrated that the best can indeed get better. Adding the zest of the Ninja personality to the basic SX package has led to an uplift in dynamic engine and chassis performance, without losing the enviable touring capability, which initially established a new category of machine in the litre class.

Tech-wise, a TFT meter panel and advanced traction control feature alongside electronic cruise control plus a quick shifter as well as a clever integrated braking system and cornering management, all designed to facilitate hours of fulfilling saddle time whether that be long distance touring or hard core sport riding.

Available in three colourway options for 2021, riders can choose between Metallic Carbon Gray / Metallic Diablo Black, Emerald Blazed Green / Metallic Diablo Black / Metallic Graphite Gray or Metallic Moondust Gray / Metallic Diablo Black. And in each case match the desired colour to one of three Editions.

The Ninja 1000SX Performance Edition adds frame sliders, a smoke windscreen, a gel tank pad, a colour coded seat cover plus the sporty sound and extra performance of an Akrapovi exhaust.

Marking the fifth generation of a successful sport touring platform, the Ninja 1000SX Tourer Edition adds a 2x 28L integrated pannier system that is colour-matched to the body of the bike and can be conveniently locked with the ignition key. A larger windscreen is fitted for even more comfort; while the GPS bracket lets you mount your system of choice.

The third of the trio of Edition options is the Ninja 1000SX Performance Tourer Edition adding a colour coded 2x 28L integrated pannier system, heated grips, frame sliders, a large smoke windscreen, a GPS bracket, a gel tank pad, a colour coded seat cover plus the sporty sound and extra performance of an Akrapovi exhaust.

Time and distance will continue to be an abstract concept for Ninja 1000SX riders as they choose a destination and decide how long they would like to take to get there. Motorway blasts or country road tours, the Ninja 1000SX in all its new liveries and guises is set once more to deliver the ultimate combination of Sports thrills and Touring practicality.

Prices for each machine will be announced at a later date.

    <title>Vulcan S cruises confidently into 2021</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/vulcan-s-cruises-confidently-into-2021</link>
    <description>Whether choosing Metallic Spark Black, Metallic Flat Raw Graystone or Ebony, Vulcan S riders can be assured of a stimulating ride thanks to the Vulcans 649 cm3 liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine delivering a healthy 61 PS.

Translating an engaging riding sensation into words, the cruiser virtues of light handling, comfortable, plush low seat and relaxed foot-forward riding position are all evident thanks to the compact engine and slim frame design creating a narrow aspect at the knees and feet.

Successfully mixing the traditional virtues of a classic cruiser with a contemporary styling approach the customer base for the Vulcan S is diverse extending from those that are drawn to the relaxed custom lifestyle matched to dependable low to mid speed pulling power and predictable handling and other who enjoy and more spirited ride utilising the by now famous top-end urge and acceleration of the water-cooled power plant.

Add the adjustability offered by the Kawasaki Ergo-fit approach whereby handlebar and seating adjustments can be made via the use of accessory items and the Vulcan S is machine well suited to experienced riders, those new to the mid-weight scene and, as sales has shown, both male and female riders.

The benefit of ABS and a linkage-equipped offset laydown single-shock means that the confidence levels of riders both experienced and novice are well catered for and, along with high tech features like dual throttle valves, the Vulcan S rides into 2021 ready to impress a new legion of cruiser fans.

    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/z900-enjoys-three-new-colour-options-for-2021</link>
    <description>For many in the media, plus legions of owners, the Z900 presents the ideal balance between the direct and emotionally charged experience of riding a class defining Z family naked bike and the refinement and confidence that a carefully selected suite of electronic rider aids proves.

Equipped with an easy to read and innovative TFT meter panel (with Smartphone Connectivity) plus all LED lighting, the Z900 will be available in three colour-ways plus an Edition model for 2021.

Fans of mean and moody dark colours are rewarded with a choice of Green Framed Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Flat Spark Black with a touch of green or Red Framed Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Flat Spark Black with a touch of red while the impossible to ignore impact of Pearl Blizzard White / Metallic Spark Black is also on offer for the coming season.

With Power Mode selection plus advanced traction control and rider modes, the support and subtlety of the electronic rider aids is matched to the precision of such features as a smooth to operate Assist and Slipper clutch offering a riding experience that is generally recognised as taking the Z ethos to the next level of engagement and refinement.

Speaking of next level, for those who demand an instant upgrade the Z900 is available from Kawasaki Laguna as a Performance Edition once more in 2021 featuring a large smoke meter cover, a gel tank pad, a colour coded seat cover plus the sporty sound and extra performance of an Akrapovi exhaust, finished off with carbon heat shield.

The Z900 and its unique Sugomi style is not simply a vital element of Kawasaki brand DNA, it is also an essential part of the riding universe of thousands of riders across Europe. In 2021 that number will be swollen by yet more discerning riders ready to experience Kawasakis exciting and easy definitive mid-weight naked machine.

The Z spirit finds its latest expression in the Sugomi styled Z900. Power to the max, instinctive handling and traction control redefine the SuperNaked experience. LED lights and a TFT display (with Smartphone Connectivity) bring the newest tech. Push boundaries and dominate your ride.

    <title>The Ultimate Z Test Ride!</title>
    <link>https://www.laguna.co.uk/kawasaki/news/the-ultimate-z-test-ride%21</link>
    <description>After a competition was launched at Motorcycle Live last year in which customers were asked to submit a thirty second video of themselves telling us why they should be chosen, the eventual two worthy winners were Andy Sharp and Thomas Bell! Both Kawasaki fans (owning a Ninja H2 SX SE+ and Z1000SX respectively), you can imagine their excitement of being invited to this memorable event. When The Kawasaki chaperone arrived early one Monday morning in February at Heathrow airport, they found two very eager Club Kawasaki members desperate to find out what exactly we had in store for them

Andy Sharp - I just couldnt believe I had won! Im such a huge Kawasaki fan, and had never been to Las Vegas before, so to combine the two and get to experience behind the scenes of an event not normally open to the public was just fantastic!

Thomas Bell The chance to ride a Supercharged motorcycle on a banked circuit was out of this world! Kawasaki UK and Kawasaki Europe put on such an awesome event, its something I will remember for the rest of my life!

Worldwide new model press introductions are usually for members of the motorcycle press only and produce the images and articles you read in publications such as Motorcycle News, Fast Bikes magazine etc. However, for the first time ever customers of ours from across Europe were invited to join the final group of this historic event and truly experience what it was like to become a journalist for a few days. Thomas and Andy not only got to ride the new machine alongside the journalists, but experienced everything that goes on at a launch from meeting the Z H2 Japanese Project Leader to having direct access to a technical team tending to their every need as the machine was set up just for them.

It wasnt all about the bikes though, of course they needed a little R&amp;R to acclimatise to the time difference! So Kawasaki set about taking the guys on a tour of the famous Las Vegas strip, visiting Fremont Street, experiencing the New York New York rollercoaster and we even squeezed in a memorable helicopter ride over the sensational Grand Canyon! Suitably relaxed, they arrived at the awe inspiring Las Vegas Motor Speedway ready to feel 200BHP of Supercharged excitement. Not content with just providing this riding experience, the track also happened to be right next to a US Airforce base, meaning that the riders were treated to the full Top Gun experience of riding bikes with fighter jets flying overhead!

The Z H2 really is a bike for many different types of rider, as Andy and Thomas found out. Just as capable on track as it is on the road, whilst a Supercharged 200BHP sounds intimidating, they found out it really isnt.

Andy Sharp What a day! I had never ridden on an oval track before, but I want to again! The Z H2 is fantastic, so fast when you want it to be, but really composed too. It handled both the slow speed and high speed sections with ease. I want one!

Thomas Bell The mid-range power this bike has is phenomenal, it makes it so easy to ride with minimal gear changes, even though you actually want to change gear with both the super smooth quickshifter and beautiful chirp chirp sound of the Supercharger resonating through your helmet!

Kawasaki whisked the guys back to the Mirage Hotel and a couple of hours were spent on the Roulette table looking back on a brilliant day, whilst hoping the following day would be equally as epic It was. The Valley of Fire is arguably one of the most breath-taking State Parks in the United States, strewn with beautiful red coloured rock formations. This set the scene for the road riding element, where both Andy and Thomas rode an awesome stretch of winding smooth tarmac, on closed roads, posing for the professional photo and video team as they passed by. Access was then granted to the private Kawasaki website which gave them a selection of stunning images they can show off to their biker friends for ever more! It turned out that they enjoyed the bike on normal roads just as much as on track!

Thomas Bell That bike just keeps surprising me! With all the talk about Superchargers and 200BHP, we knew it would be a weapon on track, but out there, at relatively slow speeds on normal roads it works just as well. The route back to the hotel was genuinely the best ride I have EVER had on a motorcycle!

Andy Sharp I have ridden a few track days in my time, but most of my riding is done on the road, so as much as the Speedway was amazing I was really keen to try out the Z H2 on the road. Due to the strict rules in the State Park, the speed limit was quite slow, but it just enabled us to really zone in on what the bike was doing and how it worked at a more sedate pace. It was a dream to ride through such beautiful landscape on such a well behaved machine. Can we go back please?

All that remained for the two lucky guests was a ten hour flight back home to the UK, but they had had the time of their lives! It was a first for Kawasaki to invite customers to such an event; will we do it again? That remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, Thomas and Andy are left with lifelong memories! The new Z H2 is an amazing bike, just ask the guys, but why dont you go one step better and try one for yourself by heading to www.kawasakitestride.co.uk and booking a test ride with your local Kawasaki dealer? Ok, so it wont be in Las Vegas, but trust us, youll love it.
