Careers at Laguna Motorcycles

Laguna Motorcycles is a family-run business, founded in 1981 by Andrew Pearce, Co-owner & Managing Director.

Over the years we have grown to be the largest independent motorcycle dealership in the south east of England and official dealer for nine of the biggest bike manufacturer brands in the world - with a total of five stores, located in Maidstone and Ashford in Kent.

We are continually seeking to improve our offering to our customers in every way, which has been recognised time and time again, as we are four-time award winners of the prestigious Motorcycle News Dealer award.

Due to the continued expansion of the company, we are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our positive and productive team. If you feel you have excellent customer service, work well in a fast-paced environment, are pro-active in your approach and have a desire to learn, develop and continually improve, then we would love to hear from you.

Following significant improvements to our workshops over the past few years, we have seen this area of our business go from strength to strength. We are now looking to expand our workshop teams and aim to have the best qualified technicians on board, to deliver a great experience to our customers while we continue to build a successful service department.

In this role as Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of motorcycles booked into the workshop, diagnosing and repairing faults, fitting upgraded components and accessories and road testing bikes when necessary. A full motorcycle licence is essential.

You must have a detailed mechanical and electrical knowledge, diagnostic experience, good attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

You’ll have the opportunity to share skills and expertise as you work alongside other experienced technicians in a vibrant and enthusiastic working environment. From day one, you’ll be part of the team and will be offered support in any areas you wish to develop and refine, with a great choice of training courses from the world’s best motorcycle companies.

We aim to reward our technicians with a lucrative salary and bonus structure, alongside an industry-leading benefits package which includes a motorcycle purchase scheme.
