Motocross is radical. It puts extreme demands on the rider. The skills, performance, courage, dedication, and physical fitness required to find an edge on the competition are immense. Weakness in any area results in failure. KTM has a dominant record of success in modern motocross. The record speaks for itself.
Dominating the major series.
The 2-stroke motocross bike represents a purist, raw and extreme approach to riding motocross.
To win at the highest level you need to compete on a 4-stroke, but to nurture that throttle control, corner speed, body position, precise gear selection and aggression required to reach those heights as a pro, you should spend your formative racing years honing you skills and instinct upon a 2-stroke, and experiencing the pure thrill of racing.
Now, for the first time in decades, this “old-school” technology takes a gigantic leap into the modern era, with injection, e-start, and electronic rider aid comparable with that of a modern 4-stroke.
The innovative performance of the KTM SX-F models allows the rider to realize their full potential out on the motocross track. Whether you’re a defending champion, aspiring rookie pro or vet racer, you will have your best chance of success thanks to the radical re-design of this entire motorcycle, which puts the immense performance potential and cutting-edge technology within easy reach for riders of all ages and levels.
KTM Minicycles, including the 50 SX, 65 SX, and 85 SX, form a progressive lineup of high-performance 2-stroke motocross bikes designed to nurture young riders from beginners to competitive juniors. The KTM 50 SX is the entry-level model, powered by a compact ~49-50cc automatic single-speed engine, ideal for smaller kids starting around age 5.
Stepping up, the KTM 65 SX offers a liquid-cooled ~65cc 2-stroke engine with a 6-speed transmission and hydraulic clutch, delivering more power and control for intermediate riders, supported by advanced WP suspension, strong disc brakes, and a race-inspired chassis.
The KTM 85 SX, available in different wheel sizes (such as 17/14 or 19/16), bridges the gap to full-size bikes with its ~85cc powerplant, larger ergonomics, and pro-level components to prepare older juniors for bigger challenges.
All three models embody KTM’s READY TO RACE philosophy with durable chrome-moly frames, high-quality components, and adjustable setups that provide serious skill development while delivering pure fun and excitement on the dirt.

Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Laguna Motorcycles Limited (which include multiple trading names: Laguna Motorcycles, Laguna Performance Centre, Laguna Triumph, Maidstone Honda, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Kent Motorcycles) to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.
Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.
Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
