Adventure grunt

This beefcake is powered by the famous Suzuki V-Twin engine, delivering an immaculate rumble from low rpm and then as the revs rise, authority demanding presence. Offering a substantial 79kW @ 8,500rpm this V-Strom has enough power to give any level of rider a good time.

Ready set go

The 1050XT is packed with bundles of punchy torque character. Fill your boots with a joyful 100Nm of torque at 6,000rpm, giving you a lasting adrenaline rush from the first stop to the very last one!

Adjustable settings

With adjustable Traction Control, ride modes and cruise control, you get all the tools you need to adjust the bike accordingly to the way you like to ride. The systems are now powered by a ride-by-wire throttle and 6-direction 3-axis IMU sensor providing terrific system intelligence.

Suzuki Clutch Assist System

SCAS or Suzuki Clutch Assist System works as an assist clutch to make the lever easier to pull whilst continuing power output. Working as a slipper clutch on downshifts to ensure a smoother ride.

"Suzuki has adjusted the peak torque on the V-Strom 1050 from previous models, meaning at higher revs you'll feel that it's ready to give you more. It feels keener to get to the 9,500rpm redline and makes the old machine's power delivery feel like a distance memory. Throttle response is much tighter due to the new ride-by-wire system, meaning a smoother and predictable execution."

Fit for a King/Queen

Making your life easier, an adjustable seat on the 1050XT allows you to tailor the bike to your needs, ranging from 850mm-870mm. The seat is also equipped with ultra-cushioned material, maintaining rider support on every journey.

Intelligent riding

Packed with premium riding technology, this model comes equipped with a SIRS package which incorporates various technology additions such as a Motion Track Brake System, Hill Hold, Load Dependent Control, a Drive Mode Selector and Traction Control to name but a few.

"The handling is relaxed and the bike feels great on the road; perfect for long-distance travel. The 43mm KYB upside-downies at the front and the KYB mono-shock rear suspension are both easily adjustable and there’s loads of ground clearance. The spring preload and compression/rebound damping of the KYB USD forks leaves a lot of room for the rider to tailor their model to their desire. With this premium suspension and a rear bottom link type mono-shock, the rider will experience silky smooth riding on or off-road.
