The Danas 1000 Course

During this maximum intensity week, you'll make a start from Granada (Spain) and make your way across the Mediterranean Sea via ferry from Motril to Nador. After that, you'll ride through the land of the Berbers within the picturesque Atlas Mountains where you might even encounter snowfalls and flurries - perhaps even the first of the season. Once you've worked your way through the blizzard you're descending down the mountain southbound into the desert terrain of Morocco to arrive at the peaks of the great dunes of Erg Chebbi. On the way back, you venture into more unexplored lands of the Morocco desert and into Merzouga, then Nador. It is here that your endurance and riding skill will be tested most.

Adventure Stamina is everything

Training your physical and mental stamina can be one of the most important things. This is by no means going to be an easy breeze ride through the hills - you'll need to be ready for anything you encounter from punctures to dehydration. Be prepared for everything the environment and the human body can throw at you, it'll be sure to swing your way.

In order to complete the race within the parameters of the competition you'll need to follow a precise route through the raid. This means planning your route through the areas where cars & trucks will not be passing you. You're on your own! There are numerous challenges available varying in the difficulty of terrain and navigation.

Whether you're riding as part of a group or in a duo, bravery is crucial. If you haven't worked out already, anything can happen - if your partner's clutch burns out, you are left to ride the remainder of the day alone. That means riding over countless mirror-like sand dunes until you get to your destination if you've mapped your journey correctly.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
