The Versys 900 pairs the long-legged comfort the Versys name is known for with the free-revving 948cc In-Line Four from Kawasaki's Z-series. A new lightweight steel trellis frame, long-travel suspension and 17" wheels keep it agile, while ARAS radar technology, a 5" TFT dash and a luggage-ready rear frame make it just as happy two-up and fully loaded.

Chassis
All-new steel trellis frame
Developed with Kawasaki's dynamic analysis, the frame balances rigidity and flex for a planted, agile feel. A near 50:50 weight distribution and front-loaded geometry give light, direct steering, while the three-bag-capable rear frame stays composed with a passenger and luggage on board.
Performance
948cc In-Line Four
Inspired by the Z-series Supernakeds, the In-Line Four makes 122PS (89.6kW) at 9,500rpm and 97.3Nm at 8,000rpm. Strong, smooth low and mid-range torque suits everyday riding, a linear top-end rush brings the thrills, and long final gearing keeps motorway miles relaxed. An assist and slipper clutch and KQS quickshifter add to the fun.

Long-travel suspension, 17" wheels
Long-travel suspension soaks up bumps and changing surfaces, while 17" wheels front and rear keep the steering quick and precise. It's the sportiest Versys chassis yet, without giving up any of the comfort.
Technology
ARAS & Emergency Stop Signal
A first for the Versys. Front and rear radar sensors power Adaptive Cruise Control Lite, Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Detection, while the brake light flashes under hard braking to warn traffic behind. An IMU adds lean-sensitive precision to the ABS and rider aids.
Comfort
Built for long days in the saddle
An upright riding position, a height-adjustable seat (825-845mm), a seven-position adjustable screen and a tank shaped for an easy reach to the ground make long-distance touring effortless. Fit the top case and panniers together and the dampened mounting system keeps it stable when fully loaded.
Cockpit
5" TFT & smartphone connectivity
The full-colour TFT offers two layouts, one focused on the engine, one on navigation and vehicle info. Connect your phone through the RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE for turn-by-turn navigation on the dash and hands-free voice commands.
