We love doing things a little differently here at Maidstone Harley-Davidson®, especially when it comes to custom builds and capturing the spirit of adventure!
After the success of our DirtQuake Flat Track race bike, we built “Hurricane” the road going Flat Track racer. That bike is with its new owner, but we loved building it so we tried something similar - but with a bit more of a ‘heritage’ feel to it. The end result is this super cool custom Street Rod® with an XR750 inspired design.
The paint work is beautiful and has an incredible flake throughout the vibrant orange colourway. It is completely custom and you will be the only person sporting a bike with paint like this! We couldn’t just settle with paintwork, so we created a whole new rear end and race-inspired number boards on both sides as well as a unique race inspired head board. The front number board features LED lights and a “Number 1” - quite simply because this bike is number 1 in style and feel, and the fuel tank is an original Sportster fuel tank with a modification which gives a nod to the XR models of old. A one-off exhaust ensures the bike sounds as good as it looks and a high flow air filter finishes off the Stage 1 tune, giving you plenty of power for the road ahead. Tracker handlebars and grips put you in a comfy riding position and make you feel fully in contact with the bike and a hand made seat ensures you can ride mile after mile in complete comfort. We also added some off road foot pegs to ensure you keep your feet in place in case you fancy getting sideways! Mini LED indicators ensure you don’t spoil the lines of the bike but are bright enough to allow people to see them, and the MX-style fork protectors keep the front end looking like a thoroughbred race machine.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose. Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
