Here at Laguna Motorcycles, we stock the Ladies and Men’s Oxford Mondial Suit - and apart from the sizing, shape and slightly different vents, both styles are identical when it comes to its benefits and practicality.
The Mondial Jacket is a step up from regular waterproof wear – it employs a laminate outer shell, incorporating the highest Oxford Dry2Dry™ waterproof and breathable membrane, which is bonded to a tough nylon construction, and has a durable inner lining which is comfortable against the skin. The benefit of laminate is that it doesn’t hold water in a downpour and dries out quickly compared to most heavy weighted Gore-Tex suits.
Both styles have chest vents to keep the rider cool when needed. The men’s vent is accessible via a side zip and Velcro at the bottom of the vent, and the woman’s style has one zip on each side. Whilst the jacket and trousers are sold separately, they’re a worthwhile investment – as they say, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear!
The trouser is designed to provide unrestricted movement in extreme riding conditions, using technical laminated fabrics to minimise weight, whilst maximising protection against bad weather conditions. Like the jacket, the Mondial trouser is laminated and fully lined too – expertly designed with the sole purpose of keeping the rider dry and warm!
The Mondial Advanced Suit is CE approved, abrasion resistant and is perfectly safe to use on the road. The jacket comes with removable shoulder and elbow protection whilst pants come with essential knee and hip armour.
