Adventure bikes are labelled worldwide as the go-anywhere machine, but how many riders actually test the capabilities of their bike by going off-road? Well, Motology Films have a group of brave riders who recently took their fleet out, including the KTM 890 Adventure R, onto single-track trails to show us how it's done! If you're wanting to try something like this then look into the adventure centres available worldwide, which are tailored to teaching you how to get started and progress your skills.
Please note, that adventure riding should be similar to wolves within a pack. You should never ride alone!

Pumping out a notable upgrade over its predecessor, the engine now boasts a significant jump in power and torque. This power, paired with a 15,000km service interval and low fuel consumption make it ready to hit the long road.
A tapered aluminium handlebar allows for maximum control while providing a strong grip point for the rider. Not only is it a durable component aboard the 890 Adventure R but it can also be mounted in six different positions, allowing the rider to take full control of their shredder.
Developed for light handling, comfort and long-distance exploration, the frame is considered a phenomenon in chassis design. Refined for further strength there is a tubular Chromoly steel frame used with the engine acting as a stressed member to reduce weight and size.
Variables come into every aspect of off-road riding and to quote Forest Gump, "you never know what you're going to get". So maximum efficiency and durability have been specifically engineered into the forks and rear shock - these rides are kitted out with premium WP XPLOR gear.
Built to produce maximum adventure edge and ultimate riding control.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose. Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
