Each rider has a unique story about their motorcycle journey, from their very first bike to the motorcycle they ride today - with some riders owning many models throughout their riding career! With this in mind, we spoke with our Motorcycle Technician, Dom, to find out more about his riding career and the whopping 27 bikes he has owned! Ranging across a variety of different brands, types, colours and sizes, Dom doesn't appear to have one particular taste in motorcycles - he mentions that the bikes he's owned are simply based on what he's fancied at the time. Let's take a look at the list! Have you owned any of these motorcycles and which ones were your favourites?

"Other than my current every day motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob®, I have kept the Bonneville T140 because I genuinely love it so much. It's an enjoyable ride with so much effortless character, wherever I go it keeps a smile on my face. An absolute classic in my opinion and that's why I've kept it all this time!
If not the Bonneville T140, I would definitely say the Suzuki RGV 250 VJ22... Wow, that was a bike and a half, an absolutely awesome 2-stroke legend. If you know bikes, you'd know this bike was an awesome ride - the closest thing you could get to a GP bike on the road. I definitely regret selling that bike."
"I quite like the look of the Kawasaki Z900RS. It has traditional-looking styling and will be one of the most reliable bikes in today's market. I also think 900cc is a substantial amount of power and to go larger than that could be unneccessary for me. Simply because I couldn't use the immense speed you get with a 120,000HP engine sports bike out on the road unless I go to a track!"

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
